At Teen Impact we realize that not everyone is in the same place with their spiritual walks. Some teens are going deep, some are just beginning to make decisions, and some just aren’t that interested. We are reaching out to the totally convinced, the half convinced, and the unconvinced, both inside the Church and outside the Church. With such a wide audience we try our best to meet those needs in a multitude of ways with varying formats.
There are basically 3 ministry categories interwoven in our strategy. Entry Level ministry, Discipleship ministry, and Leadership ministry.
Entry Level is focused on relationship building where teens in all stages of the spiritual walk can meet safely together and hear the Gospel in a light, fun environment. Examples are Area 51, Acquire the Fire, JOLT, Free Movie Night, Core Clubs, Grade Level Events, Fly Quasi Band, etc.
Discipleship Level is where committed Christian teens come together to really grow in their faith and find accountability. Examples are High Velocity Core Clubs, Sunday School, Bible Studies, the Big Thing, etc.
Leadership Level is where fully committed disciples apply to join a team so as to help Teen Impact move towards its specific ministry goals. Examples are Teen Leadership Retreats, Teen Leaders weekly meeting, Adult Committee monthly meeting, Area 51 Adult Counselors, Core Club Leaders, College Interns, etc.
At Teen Impact we have a clear vision, and that is “to help teens know God and then make Him known”. Our three tiered ministry strategy is the vehicle we use to make that happen.
If you are a guy/girl or something all else different and in grades 6th-12th, you are considered a youth. You can come join in all the fun of Teen Impact and Area 51.
Ever heard of someone being sold on Jesus Christ? They love Jesus more than this world, like they are an Alien!!
It is where all the Youth hand out with friends on Sunday nights. It's held in the Youth Building with lots of awesome stuff to check out. We got teen praise music, awesome video clips, fun and games, dinner for a buck, kids who make friends with other kids, love for the Lord going on. Come check it out. Oh yeah, and of course we have X-Box tournaments going on all the time.
Every Sunday night Youth Building:
• Junior High from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m.
• Senior High from 6:45 to 8:00 p.m.
Teens of the same gender, same grade, get together with a leader for small group discipleship. Core Clubs build a small group of Christian friends, you pray for each other, share, bond, do service work, study the Bible, and also do lots of fun stuff together. It's all about going deeper in your walk of faith, and walking it with some friends.
This is some good stuff. Larger groups of teens around your age meeting to study the Bible in a group setting, ask questions make friends and learn all at that same time, what a deal.
